Let me just say this: transgender rights are human rights.

Let me just say this: transgender rights are human rights. If a transgender person is willing to fight, even sacrifice their lives, for our freedom and rights (even the presidents rights) then why take that away from this community? It does not make any sense to me at all or a lot of people for that matter. Why would someone so powerful like the president, ban the transgender community from serving our country because he thinks it's a burden? No, really, do you know what the definition of a burden is? Burden by definition is that which is carried. What you have done with this ban is hurt our military as a whole, by creating this ban it does so much harm for so many. I'm horrified what your ban will be next, just because it's a burden to you. Well, guess what? We have the burden as the American people. And around the globe? They have consequences for us because of that burden we carry. Truth be told, our biggest burden is not the transgender community serving in the military.

Sincerely, Someone who is NOT your burden
