Why You Should Embrace Your 30s

As someone who is turning 30 in just a few months, I choose to embrace this milestone instead of being scared of it.

Maybe you feel like you have not accomplished enough yet. Maybe you just feel stuck in your job and feel like you should have done something particular by the age of 30. When you think about it, not everyone gets a chance to experience and embrace a big milestone like turning 30. So why not take a chance?

Take that trip you have always wanted to take and get out of your comfort zone. Do what makes you happy. We often get so caught up in our daily lives that when our birthday comes around, the “what if” thoughts come to our minds. They are the fears that you haven’t done what you’ve wanted to. Instead of doing that, you should start embracing life.

Birthdays are supposed to be a chance for personal growth and new experiences for you and your loved ones to enjoy. By doing this, you may inspire those around you to look at birthdays this way from now on. You could set an example.

I have always looked forward to birthdays. There’s something about turning 30 that I am excited about. This next chapter will have the good, the bad, and everything in between. It is my choice to embrace turning 30, because we only get one go at life. Why should we be scared of something that will happen to nearly everyone, whether we like it or not?

When you are scared of embracing aging, you are not allowing yourself to grow and truly enjoy birthdays for what they are. They are special milestones that you can’t get back. That is why everyone should embrace turning 30 and aging, and embrace life in general. You may be surprised with what you learn about yourself! All because you embraced your age and what that means.
